NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the City of Auburn Office of Planning and Economic Development has scheduled a Public Meeting to be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 beginning at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of collecting citizen input concerning the future design and development of City of Auburn owned property located at 1-7 State Street in downtown Auburn.
The public meeting will be held in the event center at the Hilton Garden Inn, 74 State Street, Auburn, NY 13021.

About the 1-7 State Street Project...
The 1-7 State Street project is an environmental investigation and detailed site design for a vacant and underutilized city owned site on State Street. The project includes the preparation of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, a Sampling Plan for Phase II investigation and conducting Phase II/Remedial Investigations.
The City of Auburn and the project team will be engaging stakeholders and community members to provide input on the design for the public park space. By the end of the process, a Phase I assessment report and a Phase II report with remediation recommendations will be completed along with detailed construction drawings for the site. Services for these projects are being funded fully through the US Department of HUD Community Development Block Grant Program, administered by the City of Auburn.
