City Council Meeting & Public Hearing for Proposed FY 2021-2022 City Budget

Notice is hereby given that the Auburn City Council has called a Public Hearing to be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the regular meeting of the City of Auburn City Council that begins at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of collecting citizen input concerning the City of Auburn City Manager’s Proposed Fiscal Year 2021-2022 City Budget. The public hearing will be held in person at Council Chambers, first floor, Memorial City Hall, 24 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021.

The proposed Fiscal Year 2020-2021 City Budget Document may be found at the City of Auburn website at www.AuburnNY.gov/budget2021-22  and paper copies of the proposed budget may be obtained by contacting the Office of City Clerk by phone at 315-255-4101 or by email at cmason@auburnny.gov.

Residents may also submit comments about the proposed City Budget to the Mayor and members of the City Council prior to 5:00 p.m. on May 20, 2021 using one of the following manners: 

Email your written comments using the online contact page at the following link of the City website: www.auburnny.gov/citybudgetcomment

Direct mail your written comments via the U. S. Postal Service addressed to the Mayor and City Council, Memorial City Hall, 24 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021. 

Drop off your written comments using the drop box on the front or back entrance of Memorial City Hall, 24 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021.

Call the Office of Mayor and City Council and leave your comments via voice mail at 315-255-4104.

Live-Stream:  City Council meetings may now be viewed through a live-stream on our City web site. The live video will play on any smartphone, tablet, laptop computer, or desktop computer. The video player is now built into the City website on a local government access channel that the City has named Channel-A.

Public Be Heard:  Each week at the City Council meeting, a portion of the agenda is dedicated for individuals to address the Council about city issues. This portion of the meeting is known as "Public Be Heard." For individuals unable to attend the weekly meeting we have created a Public Be Heard web page where you may easily communicate with the entire City Council by submitting your comments electronically through one very easy to use form.

Accomodations:  Requests for accommodations for individuals with disabilities may be made with advanced notice of at least three work days in advance of the meeting by calling (315) 255-4100 or contact by e-mail. As much advance notice as possible is needed to assure that appropriate services can be acquired.
