The City of Auburn has established a COVID Vaccine phone line for vaccine eligible people to call for assistance with being placed on a waiting list for upcoming County Health Department public vaccination clinics.  This phone line is for City of Auburn residents.

The City of Auburn COVID Vaccination Phone line number is 315-253-8316.

City residents that do not have access to the internet may call this line and will receive assistance with signing up for the vaccine.  Working in partnership with the Cayuga County Health Department the City of Auburn will be working to assist all of our residents with obtaining COVID vaccinations, a process that will take several months to complete.  The waiting list will be for Cayuga County Health Department public vaccination clinics that will be scheduled over the next several months as vaccine is allotted to the county.

“The City of Auburn will be doing all we can to make sure all of our city residents receive the COVID vaccine in the weeks and months ahead.  It will be a process that takes time but we will be here to assist all of our residents through the process,” stated Mayor Michael D. Quill.

“Currently the City of Auburn Fire Department has trained and certified several of its firefighters to be able to administer vaccinations and we will be partnering with the Cayuga County Health Department to coordinate public vaccination clinics in the months ahead once the vaccine supply becomes available.  Currently we can collect resident information to place eligible individuals on a waiting list, then as vaccine becomes available in coming weeks and months we will work to get all of our residents vaccinated, this will be a process that takes the next several weeks and months but the city will work as long as it takes to make certain our residents receive the vaccine,” stated City Manager Jeff Dygert.

The City of Auburn will also be working with community partners to provide vaccination information outreach in the upcoming weeks.  If you live in Cayuga County but outside of the City of Auburn you should call the town where you reside for more information.  Complete information is on the city website: www.AuburnNY.gov/covid19
