Do Your Part to Stop the Spread of COVID-19

April 5, 2020. A message from Mayor Quill:

On behalf of the Auburn City Council I would like to thank and recognize all of our community's essential employees that are working every day to carry our City and County through this COVID-19 crisis. Our health department staff, emergency management, hospital workers, nursing home workers, police, fire, sheriff, ambulance, 911 dispatchers, correction officers, postal workers, teachers, newspaper, TV & radio reporters, food-pantry & human service providers, refuse collection, water treatment, sewage treatment, DPW, truckers delivering goods, grocery store workers, restaurant staff, child care providers and the many more that keep showing up daily to keep our community going through this crisis.
The best way for us to thank and protect our essential employees that are serving us on the front lines is to follow the State and local emergency orders, stay home, practice social distancing, minimize your trips out for only essential goods and services. We have several more days and weeks ahead to get through this crisis. The more we all adhere to the guidelines, the stronger we will be as we work through this crisis. Thank you.
