Special Auburn City Council meeting Jan 1 2022 at Noon

On January 1, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. Noon, the Auburn City Council held a special meeting to administer the Oath of Office for members of City Council elected in the November 2, 2021 general election.

Terrence R. Cuddy was elected to his third consecutive term as a member of City Council.  Ginny T. Kent was elected to her first term as a member of City Council.  They will join Mayor Michael D. Quill, Councilor Jimmy Giannettino and Council Tim Locastro on the City Council.  At the ceremony Judge Thomas Leone administered the Oaths of Office, Father Vasile provided the blessing, Linda Lambe sang America the Beautiful, Bobbie Panek delivered an Inaugural Poem and Mayor Quill presented retiring City Councilor Deb McCormick with a key to the City.  The ceremony was held in Council Chambers at Memorial City Hall and lasted 26 minutes.
