Meeting agendas are posted by the Friday before each meeting and can be found at this link once posted: www.auburnny.gov/agenda

Nuisance Abatement Committee has three members, the City Manager, Police Chief and Fire Chief.  The Committee is empowered to impose appropriate sanctions and proportional penalties as may serve to eliminate such public nuisances, and it is further intended that the exercise of such powers as are given to the Nuisance Abatement Committee pursuant to this chapter may be exercised either in conjunction with, or apart from, the powers contained in other laws, without prejudice to the use of procedures and remedies available under such laws. The Council further finds the sanctions and penalties which may be imposed by the Nuisance Abatement Committee pursuant to this chapter constitute an additional and appropriate method of law enforcement in response to the proliferation of the above-described public nuisances within the City of Auburn. The sanctions and penalties which may be imposed are reasonable and necessary in order to promote the health and safety of the people of the City of Auburn and to promote the general welfare.

For more information on what constitutes a nuisance see: City Code Chapter 213 Nuisances.
