CDBG-CV Funding Application for Not-for-Profit Human Service Agencies
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) received a special allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 coronavirus. The CDBG-CV funding was authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) and provided to CDBG communities across the United States to respond to the continuing effects of Corona virus. As an Entitlement community, The City of Auburn that received an allocation of $523,452 in CDBG-CV funding that will be infused directly into the Auburn community.
Non-profit Public Service agencies are eligible to apply for funding. All Public Service (nonprofit) funding request applications for CDBG-CV must be submitted to and received by the City of Auburn no later than Friday, June 5, 2020 at 4:00pm.
Non-Profit entities that directly serve low to moderate City of Auburn income individuals will have the option to fill out an application for program funding and/or operational funding. The funding applications will be reviewed by Office of Planning and Economic Development Staff.
