The next City of Auburn Police Officer civil service exam will be held on September 18, 2021. Applications must be filed no later than
August 19, 2021.

The mission of the Auburn Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the City of Auburn by working cooperatively with the citizenry to enforce the laws, preserve the peace, and provide for a safe environment.

The following minimum qualifications must be met by applicants wishing to apply for the civil service test:
• High school graduation or equivalent
• Must be 19 but less than 35 years old at the time of written exam (military duty 6 year exception)
• Submit to a complete background investigation
• Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License
