RE: Public Meeting to be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 7pm re: Auburn City Council Home Rule Request to the State Legislature to Establish a Hotel/Short-Term Rental Occupancy Tax Within the City

On Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 7pm the Auburn City Council will meet with NYS Assemblyman John Lemondes to discuss the City Council’s request to the State of New York Legislature for Home Rule Legislation to Establish a 5% Hotel and Short-Term Rental Occupancy tax in the City of Auburn.  This meeting is open to the public and following a presentation of the topic the meeting will be open for the public to ask questions and provide comment following the rules of procedure of the Auburn City Council.

This meeting will be held at Memorial City Hall, first floor Council Chambers, 24 South Street, Auburn, NY.  The meeting will also livestream on the city of Auburn’s website at www.AuburnNY.gov/Livestream
