NYS Department of Public Service: Learn More About Steps You Can Take to Reduce Electricity Use But Still Keep Cool This Summer.

These days, the news is full of stories about energy. Whether it’s gasoline, fuel oil, natural gas, or electricity, the forces of supply and demand are having an impact on the commodities that are important to all of us.

The NYS Department of Public Service has begun a Summer campaign to provide consumers with
information that will:

• raise awareness of the upcoming supply prices and the impact to their bills,
• provide ways to reduce their energy consumption, and
• help them manage their energy usage.
