William Street and Lincoln Street Improvements Project to Begin Final Phase Starting Monday, March 16, 2020

William Street and Lincoln Street Improvements Project; Project: D035986;

The William Street and Lincoln Street Improvements project will be starting up again starting Monday, March 16, 2020 to complete the final phase of the project. 

During the construction period William Street will become a one-way street from South Street to Lincoln Street with no parking along William Street.  (View the map) People that use William Street for parking are encouraged to use alternate locations in the downtown parking garage or Court Street parking lot.

Construction will include:

Westlake Avenue and William Street intersection curb replacement, sidewalk removal/replacement;

Driveway Apron removal/replacements along William Street;

Sidewalk removal/replacements on some portions of Lincoln Street that were not completed last year.

Final paving as needed and installation of permanent road striping.

Construction will last approximately 4 weeks (mid-March until  mid-April) weather pending.
