City Budget Central is a web page dedicated to providing timely information about the City of Auburn's budget process and ongoing budget planning. Here you will find links to communications and budget presentations from the city's administration.

About the City Budget: The City of Auburn fiscal year begins on July 1st of each year. The City Council will adopt a final City Budget by the end of June each year for the next budget year. The annual City Budget is the annual plan that funds the many services provided by local, City of Auburn government. Preparation, review, and eventual adoption of the annual City Budget is a process that lasts several months. For the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Budget the City Council will begin reviewing budget proposals in the month of March 2014. Budget review will be a topic at weekly Council meetings from March through June of 2014.

FY 2014-15 Budget adoption by Council

On June 19, 2014 the Auburn City Council adopted the FY2014-15 City Budget by a vote of 3-2.

June 11, 2014 the City Manager released a FY2014-2015 Budget Proposal Update. This update incorporated City Council input following the June 5, 2014 Council meeting and Budget Public Hearing.

On May 30, 2014 the City Manager released a FY2014-2015 Budget Proposal Update. This update includes changes that have been made to the original May 1st proposal. These updates will be presented at the beginning of the June 5, 2014 City Council meeting.

At the Thursday, May 22, 2014 City Council meeting Councilors presented their own FY2014-2015 City Budget proposals:

City Management Staff prepared an analysis of the impact individual Councilor proposals would have on City services and programs. This analysis was provided to the City Council on May 30, 2014.

The Fiscal Year 2014-2015 City Budget process began in February of 2014

and is scheduled to conclude on June 19, 2014 when the City Council votes to adopt a final budget.

The process incudes many meetings and presentations along the way.
